ROLLING STONES: THE SPECTRUM ARENA (June 30, 1975)
I stood on the other side of the railing with my co-worker Mark Huckel as the Rolling Stones arrived for their second show at The Spectrum. Photographing under the dim fluorescent lights was very difficult as long shutter speeds and wides apertures were necessary.
Nevertheless, this photo provides a glimpse of what it’s like to be backstage with the Rolling Stones walking by only a few feet away. The road crew and security for the Stones had seen me working throughout the day and did not question my backstage access.

Hmm it seems like your internet site had my own 1st comment (it ended up being very long) therefore i suppose I’ll simply just sum it up precisely what I had created written and also state, I’m totally enjoying your site.
Piatek, thanks for visiting my site. I’m very happy to hear of your appreciation for the site. I’ve been away from it for awhile because of all the pictures being stolen, I don’t for the most part, but when big media entities that are very familiar with copyright and intellectual property laws think they’re entitled to my work, it’s a bit unsettling. So, I stopped posting, but I do it for people like you AND, of course, me to enjoy.
It’s also a historical reference because of the detail and stories involved. best always..stay tuned for an exciting week.
