Mick Jagger, left, and Keith Richards wait backstage moments before their second of two Philly shows at the Spectrum Arena during their 1975 “Tour of the Americas.” Keith Richards is looking into my camera as I lean against an equipment trunk, three-feet away. The backstage lights were dimmed more than usual and my camera settings were: 1/4 second, F 2.8, Ektachrome Daylight film, pushed two stops to 1200. Although technically subpar in quality, this photo is a favorite because it reminds me of where I was at this moment of my life. © Roger Barone 1975

Anthony “Charlie Watts” Bordoni, Perry “Jagger”, Roger “Richards”, and Jimmy “Wyman” Bordoni partying a few hours before the Rolling Stones second show at the Spectrum during their 1975 “Tour of the Americas, ” on June 29 and 30. We had worked the day and night before setting up the stage, unloading the Stones’ trucks and lining up the seating until moments before the show. Because the setup took a long time, we didn’t have time to take the extra seats back, so we were told to put them anywhere on the floor. Most of the workers placed the seats close to the stage and just watched the concert. I met all the Stones and took some amazing, now historic, backstage and onstage shots. photo: Donnie Barone 1975
