The Rolling Stones “Some Girls” Tour stage being assembled at JFK Stadium in Philadelphia. The sound towers and foundation of the stage were put together on a rainy Monday in June. The lighting truss and roof were put up later in the week. Two soccer goals are visible on the grass infield of JFK. © Roger Barone 1978/2014

WORKED FOR EFC,WAS IN SHOW TRAILER THE NIGHT BEFORE, GET PHONE CALL THE NIGHT BEFORE.JAGGER HAS A 103 DEGREE FEVER AND THEY WANTED TO POSTPONE SHOW!!!! WANTED DOCTOR ON STAND-BY! HE PLAYED NO ENCORE,CROWD WENT NUTS!!! THREW BOTTLES CANS AND WHAT EVER THEY COULD @ STAGE!!! DESTROYED RENTAL HAMMOND B3 AND OTHER EQUIPMENT!!
