ROLLING STONES AUDIENCE: THE SPECTRUM (June 29, 1975)

The Rolling Stones 1975 “Tour of the Americas” featured a unique Lotus Leaf-
shaped stage, which took longer than usual to set up because of its five points.

The seating setup could not be completed until the stage was finished, and
the normal routes to the backstage storage areas were blocked.

We had to carry the large chair racks up the steps through the permanent

seating areas, roll them to section M, behind the stage (Zamboni tunnel)
and take a service elevator to the backstage storage areas.

One of benefits for the Changeover Crew was being able to set out extra rows of
chairs for ourselves. This photo illustrates what I’m talking about.
