Rolling Stones security and staff bolster fences at JFK Stadium as fans began to riot (7/17/78) photo roger barone

After the Rolling Stones’ performance at JFK Stadium, angry fans pelted the stage with cans, bottles and projectiles. The fans were upset with the Stones’ abridged show, which lasted about 85 minutes. Mick Jagger, according to published reports, was ill, while the Stones’ played songs from their recently released, “Some Girls” album © Roger Barone 1978.
