VINTAGE ROLLING STONES PHOTO: ROWDY ROLLING STONES’ FANS IN PHILLY BREAK THROUGH JFK STADIUM STAGE BARRICADE (7/17/78)

After the Rolling Stones’ performance at JFK Stadium, angry fans pelted the stage with cans, bottles and projectiles. The fans were upset with the Stones’ abridged show, which lasted about 85 minutes. Mick Jagger, according to published reports, was ill, while the Stones’ played songs from their recently released, “Some Girls” album © Roger Barone 1978.
